Santa Fe Ten Memorial concept design

Updated: Aug 19, 2023

The SFISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the Foundation's proposed concept design for the future Santa Fe Ten Memorial. Our intention is to develop a community memorial to pay remembrance to the Ten and will serve as a place for all individuals impacted by the tragedy on May 18, 2018. The memorial concept incorporates symbolism and artistry and demonstrates our unwavering commitment to honor and value human life. Watch our video or browse the Memorial page for more information about the design.

“We Come Here To Remember”

We are deeply grateful for the collaboration and support we have received from the participating families, Santa Fe community, and University of Houston Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design faculty and students to design a memorial that is unlike any other. Click here to view our initial design concept for Honoring the Santa Fe Ten.
